Post 1 - Level 2 General Class Teaching Assistant
Grade 5 (SCP5-6) £12.59 per hour, Fixed Term Contract (to 31st August 2025)
Part-time 17.5 hours per week. This post will be a general class Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday from 8.40am to 12.10pm
Post 2 - Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant
Grade 5 (SCP5-6) £12.59 per hour. Fixed Term Contract (to 31st August 2025)
Part-time 10.83 hours per week. This post will be a part-time position to support a KS2 child. the successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday from 1.10pm to 3.20pm.
Post 3 – Nursery Teaching Assistant - Maternity Cover
Grade 5 (SCP5-6) £10.39 per hour. Fixed Term Contract (to 31st August 2025)
Part-time: 29.16 hours per week. This post is a part time post working in our Nursery The successful candidate will be required to Monday to Friday from 8.40am to 3.00pm. (with a half an hour for lunch)
Required from September 2024
We are seeking to appoint three enthusiastic and skilled teaching assistants to join our caring and supportive school. We would consider applicants who may wish to apply for both of these posts.
The successful applicants will:
- Have suitable experience and qualifications to work as a teaching assistant
- Be flexible to work across the whole primary phase
- Be able to work well as part of a team and share our Christian ethos
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and positive behaviour management
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Have experience of supporting pupils with specific educational needs
- Have an understanding of attachment disorder
- Have the highest expectations of pupils and themselves
- Have an ability to inspire, motivate and engage children to achieve success
