Hello Polar Bears and Seals! 

Welcome to the Year 1 page! We hope you had a restful summer and you are looking forward to a wonderful, busy term ahead. 

Our topics this term are 'Amazing Animals' and 'Roll up! Roll up!' We will be learning all about 'Animals including humans' and 'Seasons' in Science. In Geography we will be learning about 'Weather and Climates' and in History we will be learning about 'King Charles III'. 

Please continue to support your child by reading at home with them as often as possible and access bug club when you can. Children who read at home, get a star on their star chart each week. Once this is full they can choose a prize!

Important Information

PE - Thursday

Library - Every other Friday. Please remember books must be returned to get a new one. 

Forest School - Tuesday - Please come to school in Uniform!

Please remember your child needs a labelled water bottle in school each day. Snack will be provided, however if you wish to provide a healthy snack for your child you may do so. Your child will also need a suitable coat in school each day.
