Hello Polar Bears and Seals! 

Welcome to the Year 1 page! 

Our topics this term are 'Fantastic Fantasies' and 'Discovering Dinosaurs.' We will be learning all about 'Everyday Materials' in Science and we will be linking this to our learning about Castles. We will read lots of lovely Knights and Dragon stories in Literacy. After half term, we will visit a local Castle to consolidate our learning. 

Please continue to support your child by reading at home with them as often as possible and access bug club when you can. Children who read at home, get a star on their star chart each week. Once this is full they can choose a prize!
