Ofsted Report
Our school was once again rated "good" by Osted following our two-day inspection, which took place in mid-November 2019. With a newly implemented and highly demanding inspection framework that year, which looks closely at school curriculum provision, this was a really pleasing outcome.
Ofsted recognised the excellent work taking place here at Meole Brace C of E Primary School and Nursery and how: "Pupils enjoy school and they learn a lot".
The inspector noted how we had maintained the "good standard of education" offered to the children and continue to drive improvement, resulting in "positive changes across the school".
The report also recognised our school's place "at the heart of the local community" and how our "values of 'community, respect and perseverance' weave through the school's curriculum and ethos." This recognition, combined with the acknowledgement that our children's behaviour is "good at all times of the day" and that they "look out for one another" is something we should all feel particularly proud of.
The full report, which highlights many other strengths of the school, as well as areas for further development, was sent to all parents/carers via e-mail and is available below and on the Ofsted website.
