Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Year 6 Year: 2022 - 2023

Hopefully this works.... Here you will find the pictures from this year's trip.

The children have settled very well, eaten lots of home made lasagne or pizza.... OR BOTH and have been getting used to the centre with the Photosearch.

Update - Day 2. AN group have been doing a river study, learning words like confluence and deposition. After an initial downpour, we have blue skies and all was good!

In the afternoon, AN group joined in with Mr Agnew's group for raft building. Some people didn't quite make the full trip!

Some other groups also built rafts and raced around a lake. They then set off to Fairbourne beach to collect as much plastic as they could find as part of their conservation award.

Tonight was the nightline where we made our way around an assault course in the dark (nearly as the full moon made it easy for the children).

Day 3

WOW! Blue skies, sunshine and wet people. It's been a fab day. Groups have been climbing, walking across Barmouth bridge, gorge walking and canoeing. We have had a blast. We had a visit from Mr Bray today. See if you can spot him.

This evening we went for a windswept walk along the dyke, estuary at high tide on one side, flood plain on the other. It was a bit late for a geography lesson but being so committed, we managed to squeeze one in!
