Home Learning

In the event of a period of self-isolation requiring learning that can be completed at home, Parents/Carers will receive an email with full details of the children’s assignments, tasks and teacher input.

Hello Seals and Polar Bears,

We hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and well done to the children on an excellent Autumn term.

We would also like to thank all of the parents and carers who were so generous to us over Christmas, we really do appreciate it.

Our topic this half term is 'Fantasic Fantasies' which we hope the children will find as exciting as we do! We will be learning all about Castles and reading lots of fun Knight and Princess stories throughout the first half of this term.

As the weather gets colder, it is really important that your child brings a warm coat every day. Please continue to ensure that your child brings their water bottle and book bag (including their diary and reading book) every day.

This term we will continue to have Forest School every Thursday afternoon and PE every Tuesday afternoon.

Please make sure that your child has the appropriate PE kit and Forest School clothes. We expect that your child comes to school in their uniform on Forest School day

Thank you for your continued support,

Mrs Polisena and Miss Eastman

Half Term, by Mr Bray

Christian Theme of the Month

The Christian theme for this half term is 'Courage'.

"Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1.9

In school we will be:

Exploring the value of courage.

Encouraging pupils to show courage when things are difficult.

Exploring ways in which we can be courageous in our learning and both in and out of school.

Parents and carers, please help us at home to support your child in their understanding of the above concepts.
