We have a vacancy for a cleaning assistant in our school.
16.25hrs (48 weeks) Grade 1 (scp 2) £11.59 pr hour
Term Time Hours 5.00am to 8.15am plus periodic cleaning in the school holidays (approx. 6 days)
To start from 8th April 2024
Main Job purpose;
- To ensure the school is cleaned to a high standard working within a small team.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
- Perform duties such as sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
We are looking for someone who is/has;
We will provide full training if you have not worked within a school before but ideally we are looking for:
- Previous experience working in a cleaning position
- Knowledge of best practices in cleaning and awareness of Health and Safety regulations (COSHH regulations)
- Ability to work own initiative without supervision
- Reliable and trustworthy
