Holy Trinity Church

The School and Church communities are one, as shown by the depiction of our local Church, Holy Trinity, Meole Brace in our logo, highlighting its place at the very heart of the School. 

We visit the Church as a whole-school community for special services at Harvest, Christmas and Easter, but also throughout the year for prayer opportunities and to learn more about the Christian faith. Rev. Cansdale serves as Vice Chair on the school board of Governors and visits school regularly, along with other members of the Church team to support the development of our Christian distinctiveness and to lead Collective Worship.

The Church Team

Working alongside Rev. Cansdale, we are very fortunate to benefit from the experience of our School Chaplain, Judith Clarkson (a former School Governor) and the Church Children and Families Minister, Cerys Hughes, who both attend school to lead 'Open the Book' Collective Worship every Wednesday. They also lead a weekly prayer group in school each week and members of the community are welcomed in to join them in prayer, giving children experience of Christian faith in action.
