Arthog 2018(Part II)

We have settled in and the children are exploring the centre at the moment completing the Photosearch activity. We couldn't go with plan A (crossing the bridge to Barmouth) but plan B was an even longer walk along the estuary. The 4m walk was mainly sheltered but with some huge gusts, the children enjoyed the wild walking adventure! Quite a few of them were in touch with their inner Peppa Pig (see pics).

Day 2...

We have had a brilliant day! The weather has been terrible but it certainly hasn't stopped us. The children have been soaked, capsized and blindfolded! Check out our pics...

Fresh and cold way to start the day.

We saw some amazing waterfalls today.

This wasn't us by the way!

We tried canoeing. Some got stuck.

Blind leading the blind - Nightline.

 Ready to ROW!

Day 3

A sneak peek at today as we are off out exploring in the dark. I will post more pics later on...

Our view from Rock Climbing. The weather has been fantastic today! Sunglasses should have been packed!

 We have been time travelling.

Day 4

A beautiful day! Gorge Walking for some and Orenteering for others. That water was COLD! Thank you Stevie and Grace..

See you all later!

Christian Theme of the Month

The Christian theme for this half term is 'Hope'.

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. " John 1:5

In school we will be:

Exploring the concept of hope and how this relates to light.

Encouraging pupils to further develop a hopeful attitude.

Exploring how we can show hope by persevering and trying our best.

Parents and carers, please help us at home to support your child in their understanding of the above concepts.
