Physical Education
Physical Education (PE) plays an integral role within the lives of our children at Meole Brace. We provide a full curriculum that supports pupils to become physically confident, reinforce health and fitness and develop individual talent. 'Children who are physically active are happier, more resilient and trusting of their peers'.

Competitions
At Meole Brace we encourage healthy competition so that our children put into practice the values of good sportsmanship and teamwork. We participate in school and county events throughout the academic year which support children in building resilience, confidence and mutual respect.
We enter our pupils into a wide variety of sporting competitions as well as a range of festivals to increase pupil participation throughout the school inclusive of any age and ability. These include:
Athletics, Football, Netball, Archery, Golf and Curling to name a few. Most recently we have signed up to a Key Stage One package which involves the children taking part in festivals including athletics and games.
