Macmillan Coffee Morning and Parent/Carer Forum

Thank you to all those parents/carers who attended our Macmillan Coffee Morning and Parent/Carer Forum on Friday 27th September 2019. During the informal event in the KS2 hall, two members of our school council gave a presentation about the fantastic updates to the school environment (see slides below) and then parents/carers were given guided tours of the school by Mr Bray, Mrs Lakin and Mrs Holloway to see the developments for themselves. There was also a chance for parents/carers to chat to those staff members about school matters and ask any questions they had over a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake from the bake sale. Thank you to all those bakers who donated cakes - we raised a fantastic £318 for Macmillan Cancer Trust.

Christian Theme of the Month

The Christian theme for this half term is 'Respect'.

"Show proper respect to everyone" Peter 2:17

In school we will be:

Exploring our core school value of Respect.

Encouraging pupils to show respect for themselves, for each other and for everyone we meet.

Exploring how we can respect and celebrate difference.

Parents and carers, please help us at home to support your child in their understanding of the above concepts.
