Library Mural

To launch our brand new school library and to help get the children inspired about reading and art, this term we were lucky enough to be visited by local mural artist, Rory McCann. Taking suggestions from the children and featuring characters and book references from quality texts studied in school, Rory transformed the library reading nook into a carriage on the Hogwarts' Express, taking the children on a journey into literature and their own amazing imaginations. To complete the mural, Rory incorporated some of the children's own artwork, transferring their pictures into frames painted on the walls.

Christian Theme of the Month

The Christian theme for this half term is 'Respect'.

"Do to others as you would have them do to you." Matthew 7.12

In school we will be:

Exploring the value of respect.

Encouraging pupils to show respect to everyone.

Exploring ways in which we can show respect as one of our School core Christian values.

Parents and carers, please help us at home to support your child in their understanding of the above concepts.
