Year 6 - Beluga Whales 2020 - 2021

Mrs Hetherington

Homework for 27/11/20

Literacy - Imagine you are going to do a presentation to the class on something you know a lot about. It could be your hobby or a topic that really interests you and you are knowledgeable about. Make notes on your subject/hobby and the different areas you will share with your classmates.

Fiction Express - Don't forget the new chapter of Warning Signs is out! I've put this in the Files so you can read it from here if it's easier.

We have had a focus on times tables this week and this will continue for the next few weeks. On here the children have been shown how to record their progress and to print out a sheet with their tables report on. This will go in their homework books for Wednesday.

Fantasy Football

This year, due to the football season starting later, we are able to run a school Fantasy Football league. Its a bit of fun for those who love football so use the code to join the Y6 league.                  League code:  we3kqq

Make your team up before 11am on Saturday Sept 12th.

Christian Theme of the Month

The Christian theme for this half term is 'Trust'.

"My God is my strength in whom I trust." Psalm 18.2

In school we will be:

Exploring the value of trust.

Encouraging pupils to put trust in each other and adults both in school and at home.

Exploring what makes a person trustworthy and how we can earn the trust of others.

Parents and carers, please help us at home to support your child in their understanding of the above concepts.
